Please join us on Wednesday January 29 from 7 pm to 9 pm in the East End Cooperative Ministry in East Liberty to listen to authentic and personal stories that reflect the humanity behind the storytellers’ roles and occupations in our community.
The stories will be as diverse as the storytellers themselves as they work as community activist, academic, professional, nonprofit and government workers. Moreover, most of them have either experienced or are/were working in the low wage/poverty/homelessness space.
This year Storyburgh is partnering with PublicSource to produce “Stories of Struggle and Survival” that will be held at the Great Room in East End Cooperative Ministry (EECM). Other media partners are 90.5 WESA and 91.3 WYEP.
*The event is free; any donation is welcome and appreciated.
Storyburgh and PublicSource are both nonprofit organizations.
